2009 PBR National Training Institute held at Samford University

The first Play by the Rules National Training Institute was held October 17-19, 2009 at Samford University. Twenty-three participants from Alabama, Connecticut, Guam, Nevada and Texas came together to learn more about Play by the Rules and advanced training methods. Participants enjoyed an evening out at Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ for southern cuisine and SEC football, and were also treated to a tour of historic Birmingham and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. This event was funded by the earmark from Senator Shelby in the Commerce, Science, Justice, and the Judiciary budget.
